KIDS WHO ROCK CAMP -We teach the Teens and younger an instrument and art. The students form a band. They name the band, make a logo and write a song together all in just 5 days. They perform the song on the 6th day for family and friends! Bonding and learning to work together as a group is a priceless life lesson.
The camp will consist of Morning Warm up & icebreakers/huddle, Instrument instruction, Band Practice, Studio workshops, 2 breaks with snacks and waters (we will have plenty of water bottles usually donated), lunch/drink each day, ART daily, mid-day music workshop, end of day huddle/icebreakers/reflect and so much more. Camp is only one week but friendships can be for life.
We have Rockstar showcase party at the end of each camp and give away a guitar or violin and other prizes. Each student (at least 50 students each summer) receives a goody bag and camp tee-shirt. ALL AT NO CHARGE! We are a donation based camp only.
We hope to grow into weekend workshops and afterschool programs as well. Somewhere your child can go to be around other kids who will accept them just the way they are.
Not only do we help kids take a break from stress, we also give back to the community by Christmas Caroling for the Senior Citizens, since 2017, brining them smiles, presents and SANTA! One lady was 67 and got her first photo with Santa this year.
